chenevey  > Landscapes > Yellowstone/Grand Tetons May 2009
Breathtaking photos taken in Yellowstone & the Grand Tetons' National Park. Taken in late May 2009. We had the most beautiful weather, blue skies, 70 degrees. Perfect. The mountains were still snow capped and even the lakes has a fine layer of ice on them. Many of the hikes were still closed, due to excess snow on the trails. But, I would have to say, this was my favorite season to come to Yellowstone. The snow just added a nice serene feel to such a divine place. And there was an abundance of wildlife, Bears, Elk, Moose, Bison who were all introducing their young to the many visitors.
